Saama Technologies and Sypherlink Merge to Become Major Force in Business Intelligence and Data Sharing
Merger creates compelling end-to-end data integration solution provider; supports Sypherlink’s leadership position and growth in public sector standards (NIEM) conformance
DUBLIN, Ohio, December 1, 2009 – Saama Technologies, Inc., a pure-play business intelligence solution provider, and Sypherlink, inc., a data-integration software and NIEM conformance provider, today announced they have merged. The combination of these two well-respected companies creates a compelling value to joint customers in both the commercial and public sector, and supports the shared vision of the companies. According to the terms of the agreement, Sypherlink will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saama Technologies.
According to Saama CEO, Suresh Katta, the merger creates a major presence in the BI solution and delivery space with:
